"Love the Land - Pick a Park" Initative

          At the last board meeting the CSD board expressed an interest in supporting a growing grass roots ‘whispering’ within the membership of our society to get out of doors & to honour our Earth Mother, in some way, & on a regular basis.  Many of us are already actively engaged in working with, & on behalf of, the elemental kingdom & as such we have accumulated a broad range of experiences to share with other members of the society.  The board discussed how it was that we could help to facilitate such an important body of work, with respect & in appropriateness for the highest & best of all concerned for humankind, all of the creatures of the earth, this beautiful blue planet, & for the nurturing force of Nature itself.

          We invite our membership to gather together dowsers of like mind & heart who live or work in their respective areas, & to host a dowser who can lead them in ceremony for our Mother Earth & her helpers.  We would ask dowsers who are organizing such a gathering, to keep in mind that any invitation requires, by acceptance of the invitee, an investment in time, effort & expense, therefore we ask that you consider this when inviting a fellow dowser to help you to facilitate a gathering in your green space.

          As a common intent for such gatherings the board, with much inspiration from Manyhorses, our presenting Elder board member, we developed a general theme of utilizing such gatherings to facilitate "the shifting of the energy of any green space to beneficial energy that benefits all creation". 

          Of course, winter quickly approaches us & such activities can easily be facilitated indoors as well.  As we have all learned, by attending the dowsing schools or the many activities at the annual conference, there is nothing like getting out & hugging a tree.  The Tree People are generous & kind teachers of nature energy & they can easily, if asked with respect, introduce you to the many other nurturing nature spirits that abound in our lives.  If we would but look around us, we would see energies that will astound us.  We, each of us, are Earth Whisperers & often the quietest & calmest voice is the most effective for change.
